Massachusetts lawmakers are considering requiring stores that sell cigarettes to display graphic images of the diseases that cigarette smoking can create, similar to a campaign in New York City.

This fall, the Mississippi Department of Health begins airing television and radio spots about the dangers of secondhand smoke, months before lawmakers likely file bills related to the issue.
